Illaroo is a brand-new Hampton style home located in the historic coastal town of Catherine Hill Bay. With all the luxuries you need for a memorable beach holiday, this home is the perfect choice for families or larger groups to relax and unwind in a splice of paradise.
As soon as you step inside the doors of modern home, you are welcomed by a contemporary beach feel. The Hampton style layout makes it an entertainer’s paradise, with open kitchen and living spaces, and a large veranda with ocean views to enjoy the sea breeze and watch the sunset over the Pacific Ocean. The luxury furnishings, small personal touches and brand-new appliances mean your stay will be both comfortable and memorable.
Accommodating up to 8 people, there are two living areas with media streaming TVs and Foxtel, as well as two indoor seating areas, a large spacious veranda and backyard, there is plenty of space for the whole group.

The open living, kitchen and veranda are the heart of the house, with large opening doors it is the perfect space to relax, enjoy the views, enjoy a meal and a glass of wine and read a book.

All linen and towels are provided, just please bring your own beach towels. Basic amenities are provided but the home is located just a 10-minute drive to a central shopping area with a Woolworths, Coles and specialty stores. Walk to the historic ‘Catho Pub’ for a drink, a meal and some live music.
The popular patrolled Middle Camp beach is a short 2-minute drive or 10-minute walk away, and the more secluded Moonee Beach which is very popular with surfers is just 200m away. It is also surrounded by the Wallarah National Park and Munmorah State Conservation Park in the south, with popular hiking and trail bike riding trails.
Catherine Hill Bay is a popular surfing and coastal destination located only 90 mins from Sydney, just off the M1 freeway, and only 30 minutes to Newcastle. It is the perfect escape from the busy city life – being so close to the city but you will feel a million miles away. The old miner’s town has a vibe that no other coastal town on the East Coast can compare.

Cancellation policy
BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The person making the booking MUST be at least eighteen years of age.
DEPOSIT: Until either a deposit or full payment is received confirmed and receipted by Lakeshores Management a booking is tentative only and Lakeshores Management may cancel it at any time.
GUEST REGISTRATION AND SECURITY BOND: Prior to arrival and to ensure that the property is treated fairly a Guest Registration form is required to be completed for all bookings and must be completed online and electronically signed agreeing with our Conditions of Tenancy.
This registration requires your credit card details. Damages breakages and excess cleaning charges etc. will be charged to this Credit Card if required. If Credit Card details cannot be supplied a cash security deposit is payable with the minimum payment being $500.00 This will be refunded within 14 days after departure subject to inspection to ensure that the property has been left in a tidy state no damages or loss of property are found and that our Booking & Tenancy Terms and Conditions have not been breached.
The pin code required to access the property will not be provided unless this registration has been read and signed.
CANCELLATIONS:
No refunds will be given if the guest or guests leave prior to their departure date, regardless of the reason for the early check out. The following cancellation policy applies if you have booked direct with Lakeshores Accommodation (congratulations on finding the cheapest rate!)
If you cancel your accommodation, and we can secure a replacement booking for the same period and for the same rate, your deposit will be refunded less a $100.00 Cancellation Fee. If however the property cannot be re let, one of following will apply:
*Bookings cancelled at least ninety (90) days prior to the arrival date is refundable less a cancellation fee of $100.00
*For cancellations over twenty eight (28) days of the arrival date the full deposit is non-refundable. If any payments have been received over the deposit then the refund will be total amount paid to date, less the deposit.
*For cancellations within fourteen (14) days of the arrival date 75% of the total tariff is non-refundable.
*We do not accept partial cancellations of days or guest numbers.
For refunds where the payment method was by credit card the refund will be processed back on to the same credit card. All other refunds will be via direct deposit to your bank account.
